Hang up calls from within a scenario.

The Hang Up tool is a helpful feature within the Scenario Builder that allows you to gracefully end a call during a scenario. This guide explains how to configure and make the most of it.

Configuration
Hang Up Tool Configuration

1. Message:

Enter the message that should be spoken to the caller before hanging up the call. This message can be used to provide a farewell greeting or any necessary instructions before ending the call. 

Usage

To use the Call Hangup tool in your scenario:

  1. Add the Call Hangup task to the desired point in your scenario flow.
  2. Open the task configuration and enter the desired message in the Message field.
  3. Save the configuration.

When the scenario reaches the Call Hangup task during execution, it will speak the configured message to the caller and then gracefully end the call.

Additional Notes 

  1. The Call Hangup tool is essential for properly terminating call scenarios and providing a smooth experience for callers.
  2. Successful call hangups are logged for auditing purposes.
  3. If the scenario is being executed through the API (e.g., during testing or integration), the tool will simulate the call hangup behavior and provide appropriate responses.
