Overview
The Zapier Trigger tool allows your AI agent to trigger Zaps in Zapier, enabling you to connect with over 8000+ applications and services. This powerful integration lets you automate workflows across your entire business ecosystem without writing any code.
Zapier is an automation tool that allows you to connect different apps together. You can use it to send data to Google Sheets, Airtable, Slack, and more. When your AI agent triggers a Zap, it can pass along conversation data and custom variables to any connected application.
How the Zapier Tool Works
Integration Flow
- 1Your AI agent collects information during the conversation
- 2Based on your instructions, the agent triggers the Zapier tool
- 3Data is sent to your configured Zap webhook URL
- 4Your Zap processes the data and performs actions in connected apps
How to Use the Zapier Tool
Create a Zap in Zapier
Start by creating a new Zap in your Zapier account:
- Log in to your Zapier account
- Click "Create Zap" or "Make a Zap"
- Search for "echowin" as your trigger app
- Select "Agent Trigger" as the trigger event
- Connect your echowin account if not already connected
- Select the specific tool you configured in Step 1
- Test the trigger to ensure it's working
Once you complete the Zap setup, the webhook URL will be automatically saved to your echowin tool configuration.
Configure the Zapier Tool in echowin
Add the Zapier tool to your agent and configure it:
Tool Configuration
Give this Zapier integration a name to help identify it
The expected variables to be passed to Zapier, comma separated
Note: The webhook URL will be automatically populated when you create a Zap using echowin as the trigger app.
Write Instructions for Your Agent
Tell your AI agent when and how to trigger the Zapier workflow:
Example instruction:
"When someone shows interest in our product, collect their name ($name), email ($email), company name ($company), and their main challenge ($challenge). Then trigger the 'New Lead' Zapier tool to add them to our CRM."
Note: The agent will collect the required information from the caller and trigger the Zapier tool with the collected variables.
Test Your Integration
Test the complete workflow:
- Test the Zap with sample data
- Ensure the data is correctly processed and sent to Zapier
- Verify the actions performed in connected apps
